Unearthed exhibition at the British Library, celebrates gardening as an intimate expression of care, creativity, and cultural heritage. It is a practice that connects us to the rhythms of the natural world, bridges generational knowledge, and fosters a sense of belonging.

This temporary exhibition celebrates the humble yet profound influence of gardening, how planting seeds can cultivate hope, how shared green spaces can strengthen communities, and how the simple act of nurturing life can inspire environmental responsibility on a global scale. Through stories, images, and living examples, it invites visitors to reflect on their own relationship with the land and to imagine how gardening can shape a more sustainable and connected future.

A typographic approach that blends handwritten styles with materials inspired by the garden and its surrounding space forms the foundation of this design concept. These elements work together to create a visual language that feels organic, authentic, and closely connected to its environment.
